The Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission has arrested about 13 persons, said to be senior civil servants, in connection with a fresh fraud in the pension unit of the Office of the Head of Service of the Federation.
The suspects have been arraigned in court.
The fresh scam was uncovered a few months after the dissolution of the Abdulrasheed Maina led -Pension Reform Task Team.
The Resident Consultant for the ICPC, Mr. Folu Olamiti, disclosed this to journalists after a press briefing by the Media Consultant of PRTT, Mr. Olajide Fashikun.
Fashikun had told newsmen that the nation's economic saboteurs, who were bent on destroying the future of retirees, had resorted to using falsified documents to defraud government to the tune of N35bn.
