The leadership of the All Progressives Congress on Monday rescheduled its much publicised meeting with the Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi, citing logistics reasons.
Our correspondent learnt that the APC leadership was scheduled to meet with the governor and his supporters as part of the ongoing consultations to woo them into the party.
Amaechi, the host governor and four of his other aggrieved Peoples Democratic Party colleagues, were, however, at a meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta at the time he was expected to receive the APC stalwarts.
The Interim National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, told our correspondent, "We will be there (Port-Harcourt) tomorrow, we had some challenges of logistics today."
